Digital Space

We are living in a mostly digitalized culture and everyday we'll be more virtualized. Our music, our pictures, our letters are not materialized nowadays. But is it possible to digitalize the space we live in and materialize it again somewhere else sometime?
We already have our two dimensional digital spaces on internet either in our private domains or in network communities as Facebook, MySpace.
We can personalize them depending on some parameters and present ourselves to other people or save our belongings and use them as digital shelves. These become our 2D digital housings, because we spend our time mostly in digital universe then in material world. We can be everywhere but still use this space through logging in.
So my interest for my master thesis is to create software controlled self organizing space, which we can carry as digital data in our pocket but materialize it anywhere.
